On a part-time basis I have bought, sold, improved, flipped, rented and managed single family homes, mixed use and commercial properties since 1983.  On a full-time basis, I was the Director of Health for the Torrington Area Health District in northwest Connecticut for 39 years.  In 2013, I was listed as one of the 50 most influential people in Litchfield County, CT.  That same year I retired and my wife and I moved to Westerly, a community that we have been coming to since the early 1970’s for the ocean, beaches, food, and shopping.   We made our dream come true when we found our beautiful house in a neighborhood where we were welcomed and made to feel very much at home.

I have college degrees in environmental health, sanitary engineering and public health and I am a Registered Sanitarian in Connecticut.  I was also a Connecticut certified Laboratory Director and I am proficient with problems and solutions to drinking water. In addition, in my public health career, I dealt frequently with drinking water wells, septic systems/cesspools, asbestos, mold and other indoor air quality concerns, lead in paint and soil and many other housing issues.  If you select me to be your Realtor, you will benefit from my 45 years of accumulated knowledge and experiences in both real estate and public health.

Since moving to Rhode Island, I have become very familiar with the many villages in Westerly and the other coastal towns in this wonderful part of the USA.  I belong to “Sail Newport” which is located at Fort Adams in Newport and is a fantastic venue for many events year around.  I am an avid motorcyclist (Honda F6B) and cyclist (Trek-Zektor) and I will be happy to share the endless riding opportunities from state “scenic roads” to dedicated bikeways.
